I dreamt across the night sky

Tiptoed along the edges of the twilight

Fearing my dear, I feel is very far away

Knots in my stomach are no way to start the day

I pray to the faceless moon to bring reality to my wishes

Have her wings grace my lips with butterfly kisses

From rooftops to sleep tangled messes

I surrender to burn my chapter

Ache burns at my edges and a need for her lingers

I long for her lips and to hold her fingers

Your voice echoing in my mind

And the hush of your lullaby caressing my skin

She can hold my breath as I breath her souls fire

The slower she goes,

I follow her into love higher

I lose myself in bottomless kisses

As I realize she can take me apart

She’s mastered my spirit and heart.
